Crime Alert Berks County, a citizen crime-fighting group, is offering cash rewards of up to $5,000 to anyone supplying tips that lead to an arrest in this case or any other case or crime.
Tipsters with crime information can call 877-373-9913 anytime or contact Crime Alert at its website at www.alertberks.org. No one will ask the name of the caller, who will be assigned a code number.

Offense: Thefts from vehicles.
Date and time: Various times in the past two weeks.
Location: Parking lots along the Schuylkill River trail in the 800 block of Gibraltar Road and in the Trout Run sports complex, Exeter Township.
Suspects: One is described as a white male with short dark hair and a thin beard. He was wearing blue jeans and a red sweatshirt. The second is described as a small, thin Latino male with short, dark hair and facial hair on his chin. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a black sweatshirt and dark jeans.
Police synopsis: Exeter police said there has been a rash of thefts from vehicles. The thefts involved locked and unlocked vehicles. Someone is going though women’s purses left in the vehicles and removing cash and credit cards. The credit cards are then being used at local retail establishments. The suspects were part of one of the most recent thefts and fraudulent use of the credit cards at a Muhlenberg Township business.
