‘Survivor’’s Tom Westman Was Out Before He Was In!

"Survivor: Palau" fan favorite and winner Tom Westman didn't fare as well on "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains." A member of the "Heroes" team, which has lost four out of five Immunity Challenges this season, he was sacrificed at this week's Tribal Council. Tom was eliminated with five out of seven votes cast against him, despite the fact that James Clement had blown out his knee during the Reward Challenge and is playing the game injured. ET : You managed to stay one week longer than the tribe wanted, thanks to the Immunity Idol. Did you really have any hope this week that the tribe would vote for someone else to leave? Tom Westman : I did. I was fighting. That noose kept getting thrown around my neck and I kept slipping out of it. I hoped I was going to pull something off. I needed JT to make that swing and come over. In the end, he was in that alliance, letting Amanda call all the shots. These are alliances that were made before we even got on the helicopter, so I was fighting an uphill battle. ET : How did you get on the wrong side of the vote even before the game started? Tom Westman : A ...

‘American Idol’ Cements Top 12, Says See Ya to Another Four

‘American Idol’ Cements Top 12, Says See Ya to Another Four

"American Idol" revealed this season's top 12 after voters gave the ol' heave-ho to another four hopefuls on Thursday night. Did one of your favorites get eliminated? Katelyn Epperly , who underwhelmed the judges singing Carole King 's "I Feel the Earth Move," was first to feel the boot. "It was definitely a great experience and I've learned a ton," she told Ryan Seacrest. Next, the voters decided that Todrick Hall was not "Somebody to Love," despite his animated performance of the Queen classic the night before. "This has been an awesome experience," he said. "I came here to prove that I'm not just a dancer -- I can also sing -- and I think I did that." Then, Alex Lambert got in "Trouble" for his rendition of the Ray LaMontagne tune. "There's a lot of things that America hasn't seen me do," Alex assured viewers. "I wish I could have just broken out of my shell." Lilly Scott was last to get sent on her way, despite appeasing the judges with Patsy Cline 's "I Fall to Pieces." "I thought I did really well. I thought that I was appealing to a lot of people," said a surprised Lilly. "A lot of incredible talent is going home tonight. I don’t know what America wants to hear." So, this season's top 12 is: Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Crystal Bowersox, Didi Benami, Katie Stevens, Lacey Brown, Lee Dewyze, Michael Lynche, Paige Miles, Siobhan Magnus and Tim Urban . Also on the results show, Scott MacIntyre and Matt Giraud from last season teamed up behind pianos to tackle Billy Joel 's "Tell Her About It." Catch "American Idol" next Tuesday to see the Top 12 try to do justice to classics by The Rolling Stones . [Read full story on The Insider]

Billy Corgan Reacts to John Mayer’s Sexual Comments About Jessica Simpson

Billy Corgan has some harsh words for John Mayer , following the singer/songwriter's quips to Playboy magazine about Jessica Simpson being "sexual napalm." “As far as it pertains to her. I think for any person who has celebrity to sort of drop rocks at somebody else’s feet like that -- there’s things you should really just keep your mouths shut on. There’s things that should just be left alone,” Corgan, who is rumored to be dating Simpson, tells Rolling Stone magazine. The Smashing Pumpkins frontman believes Mayer is trying to self destruct, telling the publication, "Rather than take a year off or change his musical direction … some part of it is irritating his soul to the point where he’s trying to blow it up. Certainly a talented guy, but empathetically, standing on the sidelines, it’s hard to watch someone literally burn their career to the ground -- speaking as somebody who’s done it.” Simpson recently opened up about ex-boyfriend Mayer's interview on the "Late Show with David Letterman ," saying, "Yeah, I mean, normally you would think that somebody you care about would keep those intimate details to himself…," she went on to say. "I mean, it was definitely a compliment, in a way, but I don't really want people to know that about me. That's, you know, I'm like the

‘The Biggest Loser’’s Cheryl George

‘The Biggest Loser’’s Cheryl George

"The Biggest Loser" sent the contestants off the ranch this week and put them to work in a full-time job at a food bank to give them a slice of what real life will be like when their days at the ranch come to an end. Funnily enough, Cheryl George , a member of the black team, had one of her best weeks, losing five pounds as opposed to her usual three. But it wasn't enough to keep her safe. The black team lost the weigh-in challenge, and said adios to the 50-year-old mom. "I felt like it was going to be my week to go home if the black team did not win the challenge," Cheryl says. "I felt that anybody who was younger was not going to be chosen to be voted off. It would be one of the moms, and Sherry [who ended up with immunity as she had the highest percentage of weight loss on the black team] was directly related to Ashley ." Cheryl had auditioned for the "Couples" series of "The Biggest Loser" with her son Daris . The two, formerly the orange team, were separated when the teams were divided into blue and black teams, so Daris wasn't able to step in to try to save his mom. "I think Daris will do fantastic," she says when asked about leaving him behind. "He has really matured. He does his thing and I do mine. We are not on the same exercise level. We are both working out to our own potential. He said he would...

Corey Feldman: Don’t Jump to Conclusions about Corey Haim’s Death

Corey Feldman spoke out on "Larry King Live" Wednesday night about his best friend Corey Haim 's death. Feldman had strong words for those who have assumed that Haim's death was drug-related: "The first thing I need to say is, people need to stop. They need to stop jumping the gun. They need to stop saying it's a drug overdose. They need to stop saying, you know, their theories of what they think it is or isn't." "Because at the end of the day, until the coroner's report comes out, until we have specific evidence, until we know exactly what the toxicology reports say, nobody knows," Feldman continued. "And nobody is going to know." Feldman said that Haim had recently been helping to care for his mother, who was fighting cancer, and said that when it came to his friend's drug battle, "I know that he was fighting the good fight." He said of what could have caused Haim's death, "I know that there were symptoms that he was showing that -- that expressed it could be a number of things. You know, this could have been a kidney failure. This could have been a heart failure. ... This could have been a mixture of drugs, it could have been a cocktail that's specific or it could also have been the fact that, you know, your body shuts down after years of abuse. ... I know that he was recently seeing a treatment specialist who was new in the mix, who he had only been seeing for the past two weeks. And that treatment specialist put him on a new line of medications, which were special medications. I'm not going to go into what they were, but let's just say that they may not have corresponded properly with the ...
