The brilliant artwork of the world’s most famous street artist Banksy influenced many other artists, inspiring them to pay him a tribute through their pieces of art.
One of the most successful works of this kind are definitely these real-life photos made by a British photographer. Nick Stern currently resides in Los Angeles where he just published the awaited addition to his “You are not Banksy” series of photos.
Motivated by his countryman’s satirical messages on the walls of Bristol and London that set the underground art scene on fire, Stern came up with the idea or re-enacting Banksy’s most popular work and turning it into 3D. What amazes the most is the attention to detail in every photograph, as Stern’s keen eye doesn’t miss the little things and replicates them perfectly. There are currently eleven more installments added to the collection, including the recent Diamond Jubilee stencil of a sweatshop boy making flags on a sewing machine that shook up the British public just before the Summer Olympics.
